Broodmares

~ SPS Weltlady ~

Weltlady was imported in 1999, a black Weltruhm mare out of a Graphit/Grande daughter. Weltruhm is a Weltmeyer son who is known for producing offspring with high rideability. Weltlady’s mare performance test scores: 7’s for the walk and jumping, 8 for the trot, 8 for the canter, and 8 and 9 for rideability. She placed 7th for USDF Horse of the Year at Training Level and 3rd in the Hanoverian division in 2000. In 2003, she was 5th in the Hanoverian USDF standings at Second Level . Her scores at third and fourth levels ranged from 65%-70%. Weltlady earned her elite mare status through performance and in 2001 she presented us with Fallon, a Fabriano filly. In 2005 Fallon turned in the highest score nationally for her mare performance test and tied for the highest score for studbook inspection. In 2007, Weltlady presented us with a lovely Fabuleux colt!

~ Fallon SLH ~

Fallon SLH is a 2001 mare and our first homebred dressage horse. Her dam is Weltlady, our Weltruhm/Graphit dressage mare. (Please see comments under Weltlady). Her sire is Fabriano, a very popular Celle stallion known to produce a high number of Verden auction offspring. At her 2005 Hanoverian mare inspection, Fallon was awarded her elite mare candidate status by scoring an 8.0. This score earned Fallon the priviledge of sharing the Bari von Buedingen Perpetual Trophy, which is given to the mare with the highest studbook
inspection score at the end of the inspection tour. She earned a rideability score of 9, total gait score of 8, and jumping scores of 8 and 9 on her mare performance test. These scores earned her the Engler-Friedlander Award, given to the mare with the highest mare performance test at the end of the year. Fallon also won the Dr. Hartwig Prize, given to a North American bred and born mare who acheived the highest combined scores on her studbook inspection and Mare Performance Test. Dr. Werner Schade, director of management and breeding manager of the Hanoverian Society in Germany commented that if she were in Germany, she would be an elite auction horse.

~ Wonne ~

Wonne is a 1997 Wolkenstein II/Hitchcock daughter who is a States Premium mare. She is another Weltmeyer grand-daughter who represents the third generation of States Premium Mares in her dam line. She earned the following scores on her mare performance test: 8’s for rideability, 8 for the walk, 9’s for the trot and canter.

In 2001, she produced Del Arte, a colt by Del Piero, a Donnerhall son and winner of the 1998 Bundeschampionate for Young Dressage Horses. Del Arte is now competing in Colorado.
